The maintenance of cutting disc mainly includes the following aspects:

Daily cleaning and maintenance: After daily use, use a soft brush and detergent to clean the fiber debris and dust attached to the surface of blades, conveyor belts, gear teeth and other parts to prevent residue accumulation from affecting cutting accuracy. Clean the fiber entanglement at the feed and discharge ports regularly to avoid blockage or friction noise.

Blade maintenance: Sharpen and replace blades regularly. Check the sharpness of the blade every 100-150 hours of operation. If there is a gap or passivation, sharpen it in time; severely worn blades should be replaced immediately to avoid incomplete cutting or equipment overload. After replacing the blade, the dynamic balance needs to be adjusted to ensure that the blade rotates without deflection to avoid vibration or noise caused by imbalance.

Lubrication system inspection: Check the lubrication points (such as bearings, gears, and drive shafts) before each startup to ensure that there is sufficient lubricating oil/grease to reduce wear caused by dry friction.

‌Fastener and transmission system inspection‌: Check the anchor bolts, blade fixing screws and other key connections every week, and use a torque wrench to tighten them according to the standard value to prevent loosening from causing equipment vibration or blade offset. Check the wear of the drive shaft, coupling, and belt, and replace the aging belt in time or calibrate the concentricity of the drive shaft‌.

‌Operation parameter optimization‌: Adjust the feed speed and cutter speed according to the fiber material to avoid overload operation causing equipment overheating or reduced cutting quality. Monitor the motor load and observe the motor operating status through the ammeter. Abnormal current fluctuations require immediate shutdown and investigation‌.

‌Safety and protection measures‌: Test the functionality of the emergency stop button and the protective cover interlock device daily to ensure that the power supply can be quickly cut off in case of emergencies. Keep the area around the equipment dry and ventilated to avoid high temperature and high humidity environments that accelerate the rusting of metal parts or short circuits in the electrical system‌.
